BRIDGE

YEAR 1

A transformational 12 step online journey to reawaken the teacher within.

Learn from your own unique experience and gain inner wisdom that will guide you both on and beyond the yoga mat.

This is your 12-month initiation into the circle and connects you to the CSY way of thinking and learning through self-inquiry. We believe this helps you feel confident about asking questions and inquiring into what you believe to know about the body and yoga.

Whether you are an existing yoga teacher, or a possible yoga teacher or recognise the teacher within yourself?  We believe yoga isn’t just for being on the mat and in the studios – but an integration of awareness in everything we experience on a daily basis.

The goal of this first year is to attain an understanding and ownership of the wisdoms of the body and bring you up to date. Use this time to undergo your own transformation, inspire your teaching methods and bring creativity to your asana sequences. Ultimately by undergoing this journey you will share and inspire change in your students and colleagues.

You will be facilitated and guided through these 12 modules by Richard George the founder of CSY. Richard has over 15 years of experience in teaching classes, workshops, retreats and teacher trainings and is delighted to be sharing some of the concepts he has found the most useful in understanding the process he calls – facilitated learning through movement. His personal journey started with yoga postures but then led him into further inquiry into contemporary anatomical views of the body, both physical and subtle. He has studied yoga therapy, fascia, somatics, improvised dance and shamanic practices of which he weaves into his exploration of movement and philosophy.

The more I delve into the complexities of the body, the more I realise we have no idea what we are capable of. There is a whole universe of magic and mystery within each one of us and it excites me when I witness that realisation in others.

Intake to this course is only once a year.
