WORLD WILD WEB

Friday 24th – Monday 28th June 2021

Wildways, Shropshire, UK

This is a 4 day retreat immersed in the Shropshire wilderness where we will explore our connection to nature through yoga, movement, shamanic journeying, nature constellations, meditation and ceremony.

This retreat reveals the many rich teachings of nature that are possible when we take time to stop and listen. We are nature, our bodies are nature and we are the elements of water, fire, earth and air. Our lives, actions and behaviours are impacted by nature.

We invite you to take a leap to become re-enchanted by the natural world, from the inside out. Sleep under the stars; bath in the river, tell stories around fire and immerse yourself in the greatest healer of life. Surrender to your wildest nature.

The retreat will combine daily yoga and body work practices, nature constellations, shamanic ceremony, ritual and play and plenty of space to just be.

All food will be cleansing, gluten free and vegan.

Accommodation

Shared dorm accommodation is available in the long house, for those who want to experience community sleeping otherwise we encourage you to bring your own tent if you know you require more privacy. Downstairs is ample seating around oak and mulberry tables, and there are yurts and the woods for socialising and dining indoors.

We encourage sustainability and connection to nature on this retreat; wild ways has many dry (compost) loos, and one flushable loo. There are 2 showers, and bathing is encouraged in the beautiful river.

Yoga and Movement sessions will take place outdoors and in one of the Yurts, and there is the most magical, traditionally built roundhouse for spiritual gatherings and ceremony. Wild ways also has its own stone circle and also has a traditionally built sauna tucked among the trees.

* There is no wifi and virtually no mobile phone signal

What to Bring:

Yoga Mat, props, towel, toiletries, Bedding (duvet or sleeping bag), any specialist food items or drinks to share. Clothes for moving, sleeping and relaxing. Suitable clothes for outdoors, torch. Earplugs (just in case!)

* We do not encourage alcohol or recreational drugs on this workshop, as it will take you away from the full experience of connection to others. We also advise you to be mindful of what you are putting into your bodies the week before.
