Relationshift: Power of Connection

(Friday 1st– Sunday 3rd March 2019)

Bilberry Hill Centre, Lickey Hills, Birmingham, UK

As human beings, we have a yearning to be in close relationship. Yet some of us live on our own and some in family systems where once the doors are closed we somehow have inside a longing for more – or a desire for something that can nourish us on a deeper level.

Working with the energy of nature, we come together to explore as a tribe what interconnectedness means and how it feels in our skin, our bones and our bodies. What we can give to others and what we can receive, working with each other as mirrors.

Current thinking in the fields of anatomy suggest that the human body is not separate, but indeed a complete whole, interconnected, self-sustaining, intimate structure of intelligence and movement. Perhaps we can learn from this and explore how this teaching can assist in our relationships.

This residential retreat, will include: yoga, movement, ritual, healthy food, community and bonding on its deepest level.

Now is not a time to create alone. It is the time to share our ideas and support each other to get them out into the world and inspire others by doing so.

Meals will be provided and will all be vegan and gluten free. Examples of menu include; lentil shepherds pie, coconut curry with quinoa, healthy salads and healthy nibbles and snacks.

A week retreat into the Rites of Passages of ones life – from birth through the stages of growth, confusion, maturity and death. We will explore how to live more fully, more in the present and with gravitas through bridging these transitions in life through initiation ceremonies. We will explore how this relates to both the body and nature.

The group will have space to explore their roles in life and prepare for an evolution of their current role in solidarity to act in ways that support the whole of life. We are in a crucial time of moving from the I to the We.

The retreat will combine daily yoga and body work practices, shamanic ceremony and ritual, play and space to have time being nurtured in nature.
